About Me

Kim Adams is a memoirist whose work sheds light on resilience, healing, and the journey to self-acceptance. After surviving her traumatic childhood marked by abuse and the tragic murder-suicide of her mother and brother ten years ago, Kim spent decades carrying the weight of shame and silence.

Kim’s upcoming memoir, The Weight of Unshed Tears, chronicles her journey through trauma, her battles with self-doubt, and finding the courage to share her story.

Guided by her faith and belief in treating others with compassion and understanding, Kim found a new purpose by adopting her teenage daughter from foster care. This experience brought new meaning to her life and strengthened her dedication to advocacy for trauma survivors.

By sharing her experiences, Kim hopes to connect with readers who have suffered adversity, feel voiceless, and have experienced overwhelming loneliness, offering empathy and support.
